AgriFi connects the entire value chain from pre to post-harvest, including crop insurance, first-loss credit guarantee, and the off-taking of crops. The platform leverages the power of DeFi through AllianceBlock, which will provide KYC and capital provision capabilities based on smart contracts.
The platform brings new and better ways to facilitate agricultural funding for farmers in Nigeria and beyond. Farmers can take control of their financial independence and get access to financial services and capital to provision necessary raw materials and machinery upgrades, which leads to more efficient and successful farming.
